Nanjing Medical University

Nanjing” – has a simple meaning in Chinese language. “Nan” meaning south and “Jing” meaning capital. Earlier, China as a country was divided in two parts such as North China and South China due to the large size of the country and had 2 capital cities to administer it properly. Beijing was the North and Nanjing was the South Capital of China for a long time. In the modern time, the capital is now treated as Beijing alone. Nanjing has become the economic, cultural and political center of China having beautiful city with well maintained infrastructure. Nanjing Medical University, graded B+ by WHO is situated in this city. The city is in Jiangsu province (where of course even the Jiangsu University is also situated, just 45 minutes drive from Nanjing Medical University).

China Medical University

hina Medical University (CMU) was the first medical school established by the Chinese Communist Party. Its precursor was the Chinese Workers’-Peasants’ Red Army Military Medical School and Chinese Workers’-Peasants’ Red Army Health School founded in Ruijin city, Jiangxi province in 1931.
Over 70,000 senior specialized medical personnel have been educated by CMU since its establishment. Its graduates are all over China and some countries and regions of the world. It nurtured so many famous medical experts and leaders of national health administration and education.

Wenzhou Medical University

Wenzhou Medical University (WMU), it’s history can be traced back from Zhejiang Medical School established in Hangzhou in 1912. Wenzhou Medical University is ranked as the 18th among the medical schools in China. Average passing rate of WMU graduates in Chinese Doctor’s License Examination is more than 80% and within the top 10% among all Chinese Medical Schools. The passing rate was the 5th place of the 147 medical schools in China. In 2015, the employment satisfaction rate was ranked the 2nd place among the graduates and the 5th place among the employers in China. Wenzhou Medical University embraces internationalization in the course of its development. It has established partnerships with more than 80 universities and institutions all over the world, collaborating in scholar/student exchanges, joint education programs, joint research, etc. Two Confucius Institutes have been co-established with Burapha University in Thailand and SUNY College of Optometry respectively.

North Sichuan Medical University

North Sichuan Medical University (NSMU) is a government-run university of medicine in Sichuan Province. It is located in Nanchong, the second largest higher education center of Sichuan Province. Nanchong is a famous city. It is known for the origin of the Three Kingdoms Culture. The University’s two campuses occupy an area of over 820,000 square meters. The University is responsible for the medical care of about 30 million people in the surrounding area of nearly 100,000 km. North Sichuan Medical University enrolls students both at home and abroad, and there are now on campus 13,000 students studying for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Under the guidance of its motto,”Commitment, Fraternity, Honesty and Creativity”, the college has developed into an important national and provincial center of high medical education, disease prevention, and rheumatism treatment since its establishment in 1951.

China Three Gorges Medical University

China Three Gorges Situated in Yichang city, a comparably small town in Hubei province, around 400 Indian students are studying MBBS in China at this well known China Three Gorges University. The city is situated at around 2 hour of travel from the fastest growing city of Central China, Wuhan. There is extremely famous for the tourists floating for all year around.
